Rumors

First glimpses of the iPhone 15’s design emerge online

There are still more than 7 months left until we officially get to know what the next generation of the iPhone will look like, and obviously, Apple won’t reveal any information until then. But rumors are already starting to surface, giving us an idea of what we can expect.

This week, some leaked images were published on the internet and, although they are still rumors, they may illustrate what the future iPhone 15 will look like on the outside.

We’ve talked about this in more detail here:
Some rumors about what the next iPhone 15 will look like

Supposed real photo of the device

On Thursday (16), a Twitter user posted what would be an image of the actual device, or at least a prototype of the future model.

In the image, we can see a USB-C port, a novelty already expected this year.

It is also possible to notice the aforementioned rounded edges that rumors have been talking about since the end of last year. From the image, they seem much more discreet than imagined, approaching the style of the new MacBook Pro rather than the old iPhone 5c.

In addition to this photo, the site 9to5mac also released renderings made by a designer, based on internal CAD files of the device’s project, which in theory is already circulating among parts manufacturers.

The body, which would be made of titanium, the same material currently used on the Apple Watch Ultra, wouldn’t be much different from what we have today in the iPhone 14 Pro. The difference would be more for the aforementioned rounded edges and a screen with thinner black borders.

In recent years, similar CAD files to those used in this rendering have been used to advance the external design of other iPhones before their release.

So, despite all of this still being just a rumor, the chances that this is the real representation of what the future device will look like are high.

We just have to wait until September to see if they are right or not. And either way, they are not able to reveal the internal changes, such as processor improvements and other new features that will be added.
