Every once in a while, a concept comes along that is so well produced that, for a few seconds, you almost forget it did not come from Apple itself. That is exactly the case with a new video created by designer Gunhoo Lee, which imagines what the presentation of a future foldable iPhone could look like.
The project stands out not only because of the idea itself, but mainly because of its execution. The visual language, camera movements, pacing, product lighting and even the way technical details appear on screen feel very close to the style Apple uses in its official videos.
But it is important to make one thing clear from the start: this is not a leak, and it is not some hidden teaser from Apple. It is simply an unofficial concept.
A foldable iPhone that feels like a real product
In the video description, the creator himself explains that the idea was to make a cinematic concept exploring what a foldable iPhone could look and feel like.
The project imagines a 7.8-inch inner display, Touch ID interaction, an internal hinge, as well as a new battery and chipset architecture.
All of this appears in an extremely polished presentation, with CGI, product design and motion graphics.
The result is so convincing that anyone who has followed Apple’s videos for years can easily understand why the concept has drawn attention.
The visual proposal seems to follow the logic of a premium product, perhaps something Apple could call the iPhone Ultra, although that name is also only part of the concept’s imagination.
It is not official, but it connects with old rumors
Although the video is only an artistic creation, it builds on a real market expectation: that Apple has been working on some kind of foldable iPhone.
Rumors about such a device have been circulating for years, usually pointing to a more expensive model with an internal foldable display and a more refined construction than most current foldables.
So far, however, Apple has not announced any product of this kind.
That is exactly where the video becomes interesting. It does not confirm anything, but it helps visualize how Apple could take an already familiar category and turn it into something with its own identity.
A video that looks like it came from Apple
More than the imagined specifications, what really impresses here is how faithfully the video captures the atmosphere of an Apple presentation.
The video does not simply try to show a foldable device. It tries to show how Apple would sell that idea to the public.
The camera moves calmly around the product, the details are presented as major engineering solutions, and every element seems designed to reinforce a sense of precision.
That attention to detail is exactly what makes the concept feel more real than many promotional videos for products that actually exist.
And perhaps that is why it works so well. It does not try to predict only the design of a foldable iPhone. It tries to predict Apple’s narrative around it.
In the video’s own description, Gunhoo Lee makes it clear that the project is an unofficial concept, with no affiliation with or endorsement from Apple.
Even so, the video does its job extremely well. It turns an abstract rumor into something tangible, elegant and easy to imagine.
And if Apple really does introduce a foldable iPhone in September, it would not be surprising if the official presentation looked quite a lot like the video we saw here.
