However, through documents issued by the Brazilian regulatory agency, we were able to uncover all the battery capacities of the new iPhone 16 models.
Certification process in Brazil
The information was sourced from Anatel (Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency), which certifies electronic devices before they can be sold in the country.
As we know, this year’s certification process occurred at record speed, with documents being released even before the global launch of the iPhone 16. This is important considering that Brazil is not part of the group of countries that will launch the new iPhones on September 20.

With these figures, several insights emerge:

- The increase in battery capacity is consistent with Apple’s claims about improved battery life for specific activities, such as video playback or audio streaming. The percentage increase in battery capacity closely matches the improvements Apple stated for battery performance compared to the previous generation.
